During his roman stay Caravaggio got himself talked about not just for his skill. Between 1595 and 1606 the restless painter passed his time painting and contending, creating masterpieces and fighting duels up to the famous murder of Ranuccio Tomassoni, on the evening of the 26th May 1606. After that night Caravaggio left Rome for good keeping the secret of what had really happened that night. Now, the finding of unknown documents helps us to rewrite, in a completely new and amazing perspective, the truth about that night.
